For the upcoming Christmass I need some help. I want to recreate the feeling of a tarantula on someone's skin. He needs to put his hand in a dark hole and feel around untill he feels the "spider". I have read the hairs feel like dried spaghetti and velvet, but those contradict each other. Anyone has a suggestion on how to recreate the feeling a little?

Twirl a grass flower on your skin. That is what a big spider feels like.
I tried to find a picture of a grass flower, but Google is being hard to get along with. A grass flower has three branches carrying seeds and the whole thing is 2 to 3 inches wide. You can simulate that any way you know how, but it has to move to feel like anything at all.
BTW there are pet stores where you can get next to an actual tarantula.
