I'm 32 years old man. Gout was detected at 25 yr and now diabetes (type 2) at 32. It comes to know that gout patient should avoid protein rich diet whereas a diabetic should be away from carbohydrates. Does it mean my life is just over? If I have to avoid carbohydrates and proteins, how can I live, how should I go with my diets? please suggest me.

well the thing that with diabetes 2 you have to eat healthy fruits vegtables fiber is a good thing this all comes about my watching your carbs and sugar watching your carbs not fully getting rid of them like a example greek yogurt is dannon its 80 caloies has good protein carbs are way down and your limiting your carbs which is not taking them completely away your reducing say down to say 10-12 carbs cutting sugar intake say down to about 7-12 grams fruits are natural vegtables are natural so you have positive carbs sugar fiber calories its takes a while you have your food cut down to about no more then a cup of each or 6 smaller meals through out a day metformin is kicking the sugar out of your system and may help you lose weight life is never over your just reaching for a better way to go about it
Try avoiding all meat, because meat eating can cause gout. Diabetes is caused by too much fat in the diet. You may also be chronically dehydrated. The rule is you need to drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces each day. For example, if you weigh 120 lbs, you should be drinking at least 60 ounces of water per day minimum. It is also more healthy to be drinking clean filtered water instead of bottled water from the store for a number of reasons including price ($2-$3/gallon vs. 9 cents/gallon) and health. Choose a high quality filter that is the most NSF-certified possible on the market, like www.mosteffectivefilter.com They work on solid activated carbon block technology, and are great point-of-use systems. Hope that helps.
Gout can be a painful situation but one that can be managed to reduce the frequency at which gout attacks occur. A number of study papers have shown associations between gout and type 2 diabetes including a learn from Harvard Medical School, which showed gout to be associated with a 70 increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
A common medication for treating gout, allopurinol, has shown promise for reducing thickening of heart muscle and is currently undergoing testing as a possible medication for reducing risk of diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease).
with diabetes and parallel Uric acid problem, it means I should be limited only to fruits!
Please do you have any idea about exercises for it? Due to low back pain, exercises also are problematic for me.
