I am trying to figure out if the quality of American made steel pipe is better than imported?

Is American made steel better than Imported steel? from piping and tubing for electrical conduits, architecture and much more. I really would like to know and also what are some pros and cons of both?

Answer

"Quality" doesn't mean much unless you spell out what you consider good quality. An anvil is not made with the same alloy as a hammer. A good quality hammer makes a dangerous anvil, and a good quality anvil makes a lousy hammer.
