My home is in the flight path of passenger planes going to Atlanta. Why can't I see any of them? There is a plane coming over my house every minute so I should see them in Google Earth.
I have viewed pictures of my home from Google arth but I never see any planes in them>

According to Google, most of the imagery that is seen on Google Earth is between 1 and 3 three years old. The reason for this is because it would be too expensive to continuously hire pilots to fly over areas and take pictures.

The images get a lot of processing before you see them. One thing they do is to average several images, specifically to remove airplanes and moving vehicles.
