... folding it up to make an Icosahedron. I discovered that it generates a significant repulsive magnetism all around it. ACM sheet in it's flat state exibits no noticeable magnetic properties that I've noticed and being a signwriter of 10 years, I have worked with it alot. It appears that the magnetism is solely due to the ACM being folded into the shape of the icosahedron. I discovered this when I happened to be carrying a stainless steel knife whilst holding the icosahedron and noticed that the icosahedron was repelling the knife.

I know that Aluminum can be slightly magnetic when exposed to another magnetic field but what's interesting here is that it doesn't seem at all magnetic in it's flat sheetlike state but when in the icosahedron shape becomes noticeable magnetic.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
