...and never told anyone until I was a teenager. However she let me and my sister go over there when we were young and we got molested by him. She did everything in her power to get him arrested and brought to justice. She ended all contact with that side of the family. I understand it was not OK she let us go there after she was molested her self. My husband is mad at me because I have forgiven my mom and have a relationship with her and allow my daughter around her am i in the wrong?

She made a mistake. Possibly, she believed he was capable of change, or was deceived as much. Sadly, she and you are neither the first nor last to suffer the consequences. However, I don't see it as ample justification for distrust / resentment other than for you and your sister. Perchance there's some other underlying cause for his opinion on the matter. At any rate, this shouldn't be a one sided decision. How's the child's disposition?
