when i asked her about it she said it was a stripper and it was part of the act but it made me angry and i feel like running away or something, it's really weird. she is happily married to my dad for 20 years and i know it meant nothing and it was ages ago i just don't understand why it made me so angry?

Relax! its nothing. Think of yourself going to party on your 21st and some stripper kissed you as part of the act. Would you still react the way you did?
Always think of being in the opposite person shoes - it will give you perspective and even if you are angry for minute, just be aware of your anger and you will be fine.

You have no reason to be upset. When you're her age you'll gain perspective. Parents often portray themselves as having always been innocent and sweet, but in reality, parents were just like their kids and their friends at that age. Lighten up and do not waste on more minute being judgmental to you mother.
