I want to reset it because it's all messed up but I don't want to have to reactivate it. I don't care about restoring old stuff I just want my phone number and data plan to be there. Help?

well the thing to do is call tech support they are famiular with that kinda thing i'm sure they know exactley how to reset their own phones they can tell you the best way to go about it what to do and what not to do it can't be no more mysterious then a actual computer is those are pretty easy to do
