is .co domain is popularizing now ? can we register .co domains for popular domains and is there any chance to sell them back to that site owner ? for example www.abcd.com is very popular.. can we register www.abcd.co and sell them back to www.abcd.com owner ? or can we put ads in that empty site in domain parking ?? give me some suggestions regarding this topic.. if there is any article related my question, plz post the url link.

You may register and book your domain names now. Its already popular but it is never going to be at the top level domain names like .com, .net, .org, .io etc. If you want to register a domain name that already exist in another extension then you need to first check the domain name trademark. If the domain doesn't have trademark then you may proceed in registration.
Yes you can park domain name as well. Just parking domain name doesn't make lot of money. Its better to add content on it and promote. At least you can make a good income from it.
