I'm 18 years old & graduated from high school recently in June. I was supposed to start culinary school in July at the Culinary Institute of America but have decided to take a gap year to save more money because I couldn't get a co-signer for a loan at the time. My brother suggested that instead of going to the college i originally wanted to go to, that I do culinary at George Mason University. When I looked up their " culinary " programs it mostly was described as Food Nutrition or just Nutrition & food studies. The way they wrote it in their description was that its meant to learn about nutritional food for health reasons. I just wanted to make sure that it was the same thing so I wouldn't waste money for something I'm not going to enjoy or feel comfortable in.
