In reality, all the planets are slightly warmer than they used to be, and there are some people who think that is mankind's fault and they want a tax because of it. That makes no sense and if you question them in any way, they shout insults at you.

Well I believe its real because there are green house gasses in the atmosphere that trap some of the sun rays while others reflect off. But due to a increase of the gasses the atmosphere has more than it needs causing for heat to be trapped. This can be seen through the ice glaziers decrease and rising ocean levels.
