You can find other sites by searching google.com for "pc tips" or specific questions such as "when should I unplug my computer?" Do some searching and learn a few things about this system you are using.

It depends on a lot of things. You really should have a "line isolator" that you plug your computer into. Sola and Topaz are the only brand names making good equipment. That will protect your system from lightning strikes on the power lines. That happens a lot more than you are aware of. If you have cable internet, lightning depends on things you don't know about, so ask your isp when to unplug the modem. (They probably will tell you "never".)

It should be fine, it won't damage any of your equipment. However, there's no real reason to unplug your internet. It won't have any benefit. It won't cause any harm, though.
