I'm a squash player, ranked 120th in America for my division, and, in my high school English class, we are reading a book called The Boys In the Boat, which is about a rowing team and their journey to getting a gold medal at the Berlin Olympics. My teacher went on and on about how physically demanding rowing is, and eventually I brought up how I thought Swuash was more demanding. My teacher and I got into it, and I'm pretty sure she hates me now, but that is besides the point. It got me thinking: Is squash or rowing more demanding? They use different muscles, but overall, which is more tiring, mentally draining, and overall demanding?
