I find this scripture to be relevant to the following, A family member got very rude and jugemental towards me over a mistake I made, instead of confronting me about it and giving me a chance to redeem myself she got other family members involved and got manipulative, when if she would have confronted me I would have resolved it instantly. She over and over claims to be a devout Christian woman yet she is so judgemental and acts unhappy all the time, I do feel if she stood up for herself more to the people who are really affecting her, i.e. her husband she wouldn't be so tempted to get like this towards other people. That is where this question comes in, I feel this scripture is relevant and could help her but I am scared to mention it to her because I feel it is not that well known and I don't want to seem like someone who says the bible has to be followed letter for letter, so basically I want to know how to approach this. Thank you so much and God Bless!

Luke 17:3-4King James Version (KJV)

3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
