Is there a way to be able to change into first to neutral on an AJS JSM 50 whilst stationary?

I recently purchased an AJS JSM 50 motorbike and due to the way the gearbox works, i am unable to change into neutral unless the bike is moving, which as a beginner rider, i struggle to do, is there any way that i can fiddle with the gearbox to allow me to change into neutral whilst stationary like can be done on most other motorbikes.
