Minimum wage is $12. Almost 5 yrs at $10 with no increase. Pays cash. Need job so I just cant walk?

Depends. If they don't report it to IRS then you can claim less income and pay less in taxes.
Other than that I don't see any benefit. You dont get vacation time sick leave if you get fired you can't claim unemployment. If they take no deductions it doest help. Start looking for a real job.
