I have a 34yr stepdaughter still living at home. works full time move back in 3yr ago doesn't pay rent or chores I'm trying to tell her mom she needs to pay rent for some reasonability I would like to know what you guys think ,she didn't go to college,
She works full time at Fridays restaurant.
I don't want to make her out to be a bad person but i feel she take advantage of us
she has no kids just a small dog
You should definitely make her pay rent. If she's not out on her own at 34 there's a problem. Just tell her, "You need to start taking some responsibility for your life, so you can either start paying rent and helping out around here or you can get out. It's your choice." If you say it like this she'll know that you mean business. Don't sugar coat it she needs to hear what you have to say; it's your life too. Best wishes :)
