Well, slavery was mostly used from around 5000BC-1900s. We can say that it changed the world by power and greed. People with a lot of slaves are often (From my knowledge) want more of them and abuse them, while those who are slaves might often seek for more power to fight their owners and is often abused, raped, and killed. It also changed our economy by slaves farming, knitting, etc.. By that the countries that use them would have their economy rise..But around 1900s most slavery is basically gone by that time.
Slavery started at 3000 BC when Jews were being slaved. But most recent slavery was between Blacks and Whites. Slavery changed the world and society, because with slavery it created a tense relationship between blacks and whites (still presently).Also, Slavery created greed and ignorance from owners, and now the result is that many blacks are scared and they doubt themselves.
