Travel - Should I got to Los Angeles or Montreal?

Question

I live in the Midwest and I am torn between going to Los Angeles or Montreal for four days. What's your opinion?

I happen to also be living in the midwest. Honestly, I think L.A. would be the better choice. It's mostly sunny, there are a lot of nice resorts, and there are manybeaches. Montreal will be much cooler and will probably  have limited things  to do there.

I'm Canadian. I've lived in Montreal half of my life. I'm not completely in love with the place, but I would still whole-heartedly recommend it compared to L.A. I vacationed in Cali last year, and while Nothern Cali, San Fran, Yosemite etc.  blew my mind...I could not wait to leave Los Angeles. It was a noxious, nightmare that will not live up to your expectations.
