What did God promise Joshua after Moses died?

Joshua was appointed as Moses successor and was a fearless and courageous leader who followed divine guidance.

Although Joshua did not know Jehovah "face to face" as did Moses, he was obedient to Jehovah's laws and was told by Jehovah that if he did all according to the law, then God would make his way successful and he would act wisely.

Jehovah promised Joshua that if he kept all these things and was courageous and bold, then Jehovah would never leave him.

When Moses death drew near, he ask God to appoint his successor so that Israel might not become" like sheep that have no shepherd." God's response was, Joshua " a man in whom there is spirit" was to be commissioned before all the assembly. They were to listen to him. What a recommendation. God had seen his faith and ability. Israel 's leadership could not have been entrusted to more qualified hands.
Moses urged his successor to be " courageous and strong" for God would continue with him.

God called Moses the meekest man to ever walk the earth. The reason for such a good name it’s because Moses did just as he was told by God he carried out his assignments pointing to God as fulfiller.
The Egyptians were a nation who were persecuting God’s people, so he gave Moses these assignments: 1)Exodus 3:10 God said to Moses, “ I will send you to Pharaoh and you will bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
2) Exodus 7: 8-13,Moses carrying out his assignment by performing miracles.
3) Exodus 8:16-19 Moses carrying out his assignment by performing miracles
4) Exodus 9:10-12 Moses carrying out more assignment.
5) One of Moses greatest assignment was being the Mediator between God and the people, taking God’s messages to the people. What a great but heavy responsibility Moses had.
6) Exodus 31:18 Moses were given the assignment to take two tablets with the Ten Commandments to take to the people so they could live up to God’s requirements and have his favor
