they just want to make sure that you don't have a medical problem that would cause you problems trying to take care of a child the home study is making sure you have a clean safe enviroment for a child to come live with you meaning all the kitchen cabinets are locked or have safety latches where are child can't get to things that are unsafe and they ask if you have a relationship with the parents and you wouldn't give the parents permission to come by outside the normal visiting hours thats normally somewhere else they do this if the parents can't have the child back and they are pretty strict
