Engineering graphics is a visual means to develop ideas and convey designs in a technical format. Engineering graphics is the dominant means to communication among engineers in industry.

I think it's much like Engineering Drawing:

Engineering graphics is also called as engineering drawing.
It deals with the orientation of an object, how the object appears from top or side or from front.

Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing, is all about perfect representation of a given solid (viewed under specific conditions) under the first/third quadrant system. By and large we follow first angle system. This fills the gap between the design engineer and the production engineer.
It mainly deals with the following major topics:
1) Projection of points/lines/planes/solids
2) Section of solids,
3) Development of lateral surfaces,
4) Isometric projection,
5) Oblique projection,
6) Perspective projection,
7) Scales, and
8) Curves.
