I'd like to look into purchasing a boat that could sail from Huntington Beach to Kauaii, in Hawaii? I want a mono hull. What maker of about a 42 foot boat would be recommended?

If you were a qualified and experienced enough sailor to be able to spend 6 days at sea sailing nearly
2,500 miles, you would KNOW what kind of sailboat was the best.
If you were a serious sailor you'd ask someone who sailed the Pacific Cup or Transpac not a small question and answer site with high school and college students worrying about algebraic equations and dating.
