I'm an owner of a small business. I've been making fences for 20 years now but I became my own boss last year and started my own fence company I am a legal general contractor. Every customer that I have made fences for, repairs or anything fence related have always been happy customers. Recently I made a fence for this one lady who told me she loved the fence work when we finished it but a week later sent me messages stating that her neighbor had a problem with the fence. I then went the next morning to clarify what had been the problem turns out her neighbor was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. (Her neighbor did mention to us that this woman likes to cause problems and no one in the neighborhood likes her due to the fact of how problematic she is.) Everything was fine. 2 months later this woman calls me again exaggerating saying that the fence is mobile that the wood is cracking calling my company names like liars and phonies & that she will sue. In this situation I don't know what to do because the fence is great as well as my low prices. If anyone knows how to help in this situation I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
