I was walking down the hall and this guy just says out of the blue that his friend thinks I'm hot….im pretty sure they were just making fun of me. Im a lone girl…they're a jock. Im sure thats what they meant but idk. The guy that said that is kind though. I known him since like Kindergarten (we are in 10th) and he is actually nice and kind. Not like a regular jock at my school. But so is the other guy so idk. Help?

This has actually happened to me several times before. Just smile and say thanks, don't turn it into a big deal. Maybe strike up a conversation the next time you see one of them, play it cool.
If this guy is nice, I think that what he said about you being hot was genuine. Usually guys don't bring attention to themselves like that, calling a girl hot even if they think she isn't.
Just take the compliment as it is. Knowing guys, I'm almost positive they meant what they said. :) Hope this helped!
