A friend and i visited a GUM clinic together for the "first" time but what i found unusual was that the clinic had already had a file ready for my friend and we didnt even make an appointment. Not to be niave but surely this means my friend had previously attended the clinic right?
When I first ever visit a GUM clinic should already have a file with my information in it?

Sometimes they get information from a reffering dr or they work off information that they all ready have like you might have went to a dr in their network. Had some work down from somewhere else or they do a health screening they can get information and add it to a file insurance information also.
