So, my understanding is that Admirals of a ship fleet, in general, are stationed on a center ship within the fleer. The Vice Admiral controls the front group and the Rear Admiral controls the rear group, but where exactly are they stationed? Do they only deliver directions to their specific ship groupings while on the Admiral's ship or are they stated on their own ship within their own grouping?
(PS: Not sure if I'm using proper wording here so please be kind. I, in no way, mean any offense. I'm just trying to clarify how the stationing works generally in a Naval Fleet for a story that I am writing.)
