Whiplash is the damage of muscles in the neck after the neck goes through a whipping motion not nesseserely just to drivers it can be done on trampolines and etc.

'Whiplash' usually refers to the injury done to a driver's neck. It normally happens when you get shunted up the back end by a driver who either isn't paying attention or who is driving too close to the whiplash driver.

You've heard of a pain in the ass? Whiplash is a pain in the neck.
