If any counselor was any good, they would counsel you to avoid college. John Molloy, author of "Dress For Success", runs an image consulting company in NYC and he pays actors to go to job interviews to learn what's what in the real world. He has learned that a professional actor can always get a job offer even when he is not qualified for the job. He says vocal skill improves your earning power more than any other detail. He says the most important thing you get from your college years is your address book: professional contacts in your field. There is no counselor anywhere who will give you any such advice. My advice is to take acting classes at a community college and take the money you save and buy pure silver coins and hide them at home. NOT in anybody's vault. Also take ECON 101 and ask the professor what other courses to take. These steps will be the best investment you can possibly make.
