Some are puzzled when asked this question. The Bible says, at 1 Corinthians 8:5 "For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords". For many people around the world this statement is proven and true. Why would the Bible say something like this if it were not true.
However it continues with this in (verse 6), "there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him".
For those who followed after Jesus, there was was only one God they would worship, it was the same one Jesus said he came to declare or teach about. (Lord's Prayer) Matthew 6:9. God Himself told Moses in Exodus 3:15 “This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation".

The word God can't be associated with a single thing. God is every single thing in this world, the things you love, the things of importance. From a stone to a tree, from water to air, from sun to planets, every things is nothing but God. Its a belief that you practice not the tradition. Your God can be your parents, your love, your children, your favorite things, your job etc.
God is the creator of all things. He is the supreme being, having power to creat, destoy and to rebuild. The great plan of salvation was created by Him and His Son Jesus Christ before this earth was formed. He and his Son The Christ will judge all men for their deeds while upon this earth. He loves all of His children, with no exception.
