Who knows a REAL horror film?

Details:

I'm looking for a horror movie..but it needs to be a movie that really makes me feel real HORROR, not just some scary moments or pure splatter. And please no pure psycho-horror-movies like audition, i'm tired of that as well.
Where are the masters of horror who want to go to their limits and experience real fear?

Dead Silence? OH!!! And theres one about a gas station full of serial killers.... For the life of me, I can't remember the tittle. Exibit A's a good film too
