My dad told me I can't get my own room and now I'm crying because I don't even know! I'm thinking about what to do know since I won't get my own work space in my own room....What's wrong with me? I shouldn't be crying...Is this a mental breakdown??

Seems to me that if you want something really bad and you don't get it that it creates disappointment which creates sadness which creates tears.
Tears do not equal a nervous breakdown. Tell your parents as soon as a young lady starts having periods and cramps she deserves her own room.
