Why are priests trained in excorsisms?

I am not sure what you are trying to ask. Do you think someone else should receive that training? Do you think priests should not have that responsibility?
Exorcism is a Roman Catholic concept. It is unknown in Christian churches and Jewish groups. The bible does not speak of any such subject after the giving of holy spirit at Pentecost.
They are not. General training for priests does not include that type of training. There are older, more mature priests who receive specific training in exorcism. But they are few. I believe there are two in Ireland. They may do one or two per year. Quite often they determine it is a psychological problem and refer the requestor to psychiatric services.
