People in my family generation have been saying stuff like that for generations . . . God so much for thinking outside the box . . . I don't know why though but I think it sounds pretty stupid to me.
Why do people think glasses look stupid and nerdy on people?

you know it might be the glasses some pick out which some really don't have a glue to what a person looks like but may be limited to a certain color frame certain structure of glasses some may have different insurance for glasses some might have alot of cash but no insurance but may have hugh insurance plans that let you pick your frames then theres the state where you get either black or brown frames or wire frames that the state will paid for and you get the not so great looking bi focals but depending on the person getting them and the means to pay for them they shouldn't cutt nobody down
Glasses are for the benefit of vision, not to change your appearance. The people who think people with glasses look nerdy and stupid are just insecure of themselves- glasses isn't really a option, unless you don't want to see clearly and sharp, so they don't have a choice.
