Why is the information in the environment not always the same as percieved by the sense organs?

The answer depends somewhat on what environment you are talking about. In general, people see what they believe. If astronomers look at a star, they will see what their schooling has taught them to see, either gravity or electric charge. These differences lead to endless arguments because everybody insists that whatever they already believe is the law of the universe.
