What will he do?I'm seeing an ENT in the next couple of weeks because of an unexplained cough that's been going on far too long. I also have a 'heartbeat' sensation in my right ear. Although my reason for seeing the ENT is for the cough, would the Dr. routinely check my ears? I'm told ears/nose/throat are all connected.
Will the Dr. look there?

The Dr. DID oblige..& removed a piece of very hard earwax.
I visited the ENT office, but spoke with the gal on the other Drs. reception area.
She said that the ENT would NOT look in the ears unless he felt the problem I have
was related. If it's not related, I'd need another referral. Go figure, I'm seeing an ENT but would need another referral for him to look into my right ear if it's not related to the cough. Money grab if you ask me.
