Windows' Self Repair?

Question

So, my laptop is not protected by anything such as Norton or MCCafe or whatnot; I just opened it to a "Diagnosing PC . . . " then it pops up with, "Attempting repair . . . " and finally, "Automatic Repair could not repair your PC." 
Yet, I choose to continue to Windows 8.1, and it works just fine? Should I worry?

Well first of all, I recommend you upgrade to Windows 10.  Then, since you don't have an antivirus, download 360 Total Security.  It's free and works great, I use it myself in favor of paid options.  I used to have 8.1 and I don't remember any repair notifications.
