Hey, it doesn't matter what time of day you workout, you will gain muscle as long as you workout hard enough. Remember that when muscles are sore from working out, it really means the muscles have tiny rips all over the places that they were worked out at. The muscle take a few days to due so usually, but will build a callous over each hole. That is how you gain muscle. So just excercize hard (overexertation) and you will gain muscle. Just be careful, because for some people, it is difficult to sleep at night when you workout in the evening
