Is it ok for a girl to have a boy's name? Like Charlie,Harry,Bob and Larry?

I've seen a girl on a cooking program and her name was Harry.
Alot of girls have Charlie as a name 

So what do you think?
Btw I'm not asking this for nothing.I've been writing a story since 
3 years,it has alot of chapters,and it's still ongoing,alot of people liked it
But there's a problem,the main character is a girl and her 
Name is Larry...OMG I know;( I never knew it was for boys,I really 
Liked it,I'm not American so I didnt know it's for boys in America
And I can't change the name!I've written aloooooooooot and 
Everyone got used to it,even though some of them were like"oh
Larry is for boys!" And I too got used to it.I have an American friend
She told me it's not bad,and its uniqu,as alot of girls have Bob 
As their name...sooo

What should I doooo??;(

The reason a lot of girls have Charlie is because if is short for Charolet. Or Joe for Joesephina. A lot of girls have boy names that were lengthened yo became a girl name. I don't know the girl version of Larry.

I think you should stick to the original name .Personally I don't really care if a girl has a "guy" name ,it doesn't change anything, it's just that it's usually a boys name.I even think that having a girl with a boys name in your book is really unique and special.
