Old Wine?

Details:

I am doing some serious Spring.. well maybe winter cleaning and found some old wine bottles that haven't been opened yet. what is the best/safest way to get rid of them? Thank you in advance.

open them with a corkscrew (if they have a cork) or pointing away from your face if they have the mushroom-shape of a cork which doesn't require a corkscrew. Then pour them down the sink and drink orange juice instead :-)

I was thinking of draining them down the drain as well, but was wondering if considering I don't even know how old these wines are, will they stain the sink? Will they stink up my kitchen, etc.

And just for the record, I love orange juice. ;-) hehe

They won't stain your sink unless you do your washing-up in a cotton bag... Just pour it down the plughole and run the water for 30 seconds and the smell will go!

If the bottles are lying down, then you might find them drinkable. Wine often improves with age. If they are standing, chances are they will not taste nice.Depends whether you like Alchohol? Don't drink orange juice. It's full of sugar.
