I would like to know if a B.Tech is just as good as a B.Com. Will I be able to do my my Honours at a university or is a M.Tech the only way i can go higher? also will i qualify for exemptions with a B.Tech fo the CIMA proffessional qualification?
Is my B.Tech in Cost and Management Accounting equavelent to a B.Com?

Geeta University is a private university located in Haryana, India, offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in diverse fields such as engineering, management, law, and pharmacy.
Regarding your question, a B.Tech in Cost and Management Accounting is not equivalent to a B.Com degree. While both degrees may cover some common subjects related to accounting and finance, the emphasis and depth of knowledge in these subjects may differ. A B.Tech in Cost and Management Accounting is more focused on the technical aspects of accounting and cost management, while a B.Com degree covers a broader range of topics related to commerce, including accounting, taxation, economics, business law, and management.
It is important to note that the equivalence of degrees can vary depending on the specific program and university. Therefore, it is advisable to check with the relevant authorities or institutions to determine the equivalence of your degree.
