I've tried the bad tasting nail polish which I bit through, I've tried bandages on all my fingers but I just ripped them off, and I've tried gloves on my hands which didn't even last an hour.
Can an orthodontist give me something to help with my bad nail biting?

What are you doing, trying to trick yourself somehow? There are two ways to change a habit. One is to learn a new habit, which doesn't seem likely in this case. The other is to stop wanting to do it.
First, deficiency of B vitamins have mostly psychological symptoms. There are 13 to 17 B vitamins, depending on who does the counting. Obviously not much is known about them, but what is known justifies a guess that you need some. They are cheap, so you may as well take some and see how they work for you. Get nutritional yeast powder and/or B-100 pills. Vitamin B2 is a water soluble dye that turns urine bright yellow. When the color fades, it's time for another pill. Read some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right.
Second, read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find comfort and confidence. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians.
