I want to download an Adventure Map to play, but I've heard that they'll delete your already saved worlds. Is this true? How do you prevent this? I've heard that you can copy and move the world files, so they won't be deleted, but I don't know if this is true. If so, could someone tell me how? Please, use simple terms, I am not good with computers... Any help would appreciated, thanks!

ill give it to you in steps:
1. open your minecraft folder users/[name]/library/applicationsupport/minecraft
2. drag your downloaded world into the "saves" folder
3. reopen minecraft and it should be at the bottom of the worlds list
it shouldn't delete your saved worlds but if you're worried just make a copy of the "saves" folder and put it somewhere else e.g. your desktop, a backup folder
