Is there any study that has looked at the effect of a person knowing the probability of an outcome and how that affects their decision making.
For instance, if someone knows that they have a 30% chance of winning the gamble on a slot machine, (compared to when they don't know the probability) will they behave differently? ie be more or less likely to gamble.
