Many religions use rituals in their practices but rituals are also used in almost every aspect of daily life not related to religion.
For example....I have a daily ritual...first i start the coffee pot, then i go to the bathroom, then i pour a cup of coffee, then i sit at the kitchen table with my coffee and read the paper, then I take a shower...this is a ritual because I repeat the same steps everyday.

But how to Distinguise Rite from ritual ? What are the examples of rites in the context of hindu . . . Religion etc aren't all learned from you.
