Sometimes I kill bugs.  Sometimes I put them outside.  Kinda depends on what I want to survive.  Cockroaches die.  Scary spiders die.  Beatles and pincher bugs live.

I'm 190 years old jk xD And heck no I wouldn't step on you! I. LOVE. bugs and spiders!!!! I'd get a box (without a lid), and I'd put you in it and give you a couple droplets of water, I'd give you a bug or another spider (small), then I'd let you go! :D
