An error " Scanning and repairing drive(C:):0% complete" has been going on for two hours now since turning it ON! Please help me how to fix this

Things you need to fix it
*a windows loaded bootable pendrive or a disc
its very easy to erase the old partition and fully create a new partition of your hdd
and install new windows in this laptop
*this hardrive issue maybe caused due to heat up problem which is most common in laptops
and uninstall the programs which you are not using in your pc
this will help your laptop to use less memory use which cause less heat up
and also use a cooling pad for laptops available online on amazon.
