Hi, I have a facebook page that I am an admin on and want to change myself to someone else, how?

I have a facebook page that I am an admin on and want to change myself to someone else, so that they are the admin and i have nothing to do with the page? when i search and try to add them their name does not come up? does this mean i need to add them to my PERSONAL facebook which seems to be connected to my "page" ?? and also, if i add someone as admin on my fb page does that mean they get access to my personal facebook? help please... Thanks

First, go on fb page, then click setting and change admin roole put email Id and submit

You should go to the dashboard of your page and then go to the page access where you can manage roles. In the page access, you should make them admin with removal access and ask them to remove you when they get accessed.
