would like to clean my pc.but have to turn off firewall to start the cleaning.I have no idea how to do that.

go into the control panel and click on the maintaince part of the computer you can also go into settings this will have windows firewall in there or you can go to your start menu and put search windows firewall in the search box it should take you right to it then click onto that you can also clean through scan disk and then defragment that normally doesn't require turning off windows fire wall and could be a whole lot easier
Only one software firewall should be enabled at a time. If you have an antivirus or other security program installed with its own firewall make sure it is disabled first.
1) Click Start and in the Search for Programs and Files box type Firewall and press enter.
2) In the found programs click Windows Firewall.
3) If the Windows Firewall is enabled the Windows Firewall state will be on. If it is off, 4) 4) click Change settings or Turn Windows Firewall on or off in the left column.
In the Firewall Settings window, select On and click ok.
