How many people built the Great Pyramid?

Inside the Pyramid are three known chambers although there may be more. There is the Kings Chamber which is line with red granite brought from Aswan some 600 miles to the south of Giza. Above the Kings Chamber are 4 other chambers with roofs made from granite.
The second chamber is the smallest and called the Queen’s chamber lined with limestone. The third is known as the unfinished chamber and is actually below ground. Egyptologists believe this was to be the buriel chamber for the King but it was abandoned as he wanted to be further up in the pyramid itself.
